Editing

If you need to add/change the table column's types, you have two options:

  • Access the wizard and edit the table (right-click anywhere in the table's design and click Edit Table) – recommended.

  • Manually add new cells and set their properties and mapping – not recommended due to the multiple manual steps and the high probability of forgetting to set something.

Warning  Editing the table manually prevents you from changing the table via the wizard again.

  • To edit a table, you do not have to select a cell or row, simply right-click anywhere in the table.

  • Some of the created table's options cannot be edited via the wizard (e.g., repeated body array, cell type).

  • In that case, either manually adjust the table (i.e., change the repetition array in the table's Subcomponents tab) or access the table wizard, delete the column you need to change (in this screenshot, Current column 4), add a new one (5) with new settings, and move it to the correct position).

  • If you need to modify several cell options at once, e.g., width or background color, select several cells in the layout tree (you cannot multi-select in the DC design) and set the properties.
